Drive-by Shooting Leaves One Injured in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL – A drive-by shooting occurred on Monday in the 3100 block of W. 54th Pl., leaving a 39-year-old victim injured.

At approximately 9:14 pm, while the victim was driving through an alley, an occupant in a red sedan opened fire, striking the victim in the left shoulder. The wounded individual was quickly transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where they are currently listed in good condition.

Area One detectives have taken charge of the investigation and are working diligently to identify the shooter. No suspects have been detained at this time.
