Drive-Thru Shooting at Virginia Wendy’s Injures Two

CHESAPEAKE, VA – A shooting occurred last Thursday morning in a Wendy’s drive-thru on the 3100 block of Western Branch Boulevard.

Chesapeake Police reported that a black SUV pulled up alongside a vehicle in the drive-thru and several people inside the SUV opened fire.

A man and a woman in the targeted vehicle were struck by the gunfire and transported to an area hospital.

The severity of their injuries has not been disclosed.

Chesapeake Police detectives are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department.
