Driver Assaults, Ejects Female Passneger from Moving Vehicle

EASTON, PA – On Thursday evening, Forks Township Police Department responded to an assault on Appian Way and Newlins Road West. A female passenger was reported to have been attacked by her driver, Michael Denardo, who then forcibly ejected her from his champagne colored Lexus sedan.

Reports state that the woman was repeatedly struck in the face with a closed fist while in the moving vehicle. She was subsequently pulled across Denardo and thrown from the driver’s side door, resulting in additional injuries.

The suspect’s vehicle was intercepted by police on Newlins Road West. Denardo was identified as the assailant and subsequently detained. Charged with simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, Denardo was transported to Northampton County Prison.
