FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A traffic stop for driving without headlights ended in an arrest Thursday night after a motorist led deputies on a brief pursuit into the city, authorities said.

At around 10:02 p.m. on July 24, Deputy W.E. Trainor IV attempted to stop a Honda Civic near Warrenton Road and Lendall Lane. The driver failed to stop and continued across the Falmouth Bridge into Fredericksburg before finally pulling over.

The driver was arrested and charged with DUI, no headlights, and misdemeanor eluding.
