Driver pulls gun, shoots man multiple times in fit of road rage, police say

PEMBROKE PINES, FL – Pembroke Pines Police are trying to find the suspect who shot another driver in a fit of road rage.

At 2:33 p.m., Pembroke Pines Police Officers were dispatched to a shooting that just occurred at the 8400 block of westbound Pines Boulevard.

When officers arrived on the scene, they observed an adult male victim who had multiple gunshot wounds.

The suspect is described as an adult male having a medium to dark complexion. The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on Pines Boulevard driving a dark gray SUV, possibly a Lexus. It is believed that the front right fender of the suspect’s vehicle is a lighter shade than the rest of the SUV.

A preliminary investigation revealed that this incident is isolated in nature, and seemingly related to road rage. A Good Samaritan and responding members of the police department provided immediate first aid treatment. Subsequently, the victim was transported by Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
