HANOVER, MD – On Sunday, at 1:50 a.m., reports came in of an erratic driver hitting pedestrians and an occupied parked vehicle at the 7-Eleven at 1075 Dorsey Road in Hanover.

The incident reportedly began with an assault on an adult male by the same suspect in the parking lot of the Cancun Cantina at 7501 Old Telegraph Road. The suspect, later identified as 33-year-old Adam Rey Wolford from Severn, Maryland, then got into a red Jeep Cherokee and began driving erratically.

Striking a parked vehicle and then three pedestrians, he circled the 7-Eleven parking lot before hitting the same parked vehicle once more. The suspect was later arrested on Queenstown Road near Ayshire Court. The pedestrians who were hit have been taken to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
