GLEN BURNIE, MD – On the evening of Monday, Glen Burnie officers responded to a call at the Red Roof Inn, located at 6600 Ritchie Highway.
The call, made around 8:30 p.m., was regarding a disorderly individual at the hotel. Upon their arrival, officers recognized and detained a suspect with outstanding warrants.
A subsequent search of the suspect’s hotel room, conducted under a legally obtained warrant, led to significant drug seizures.
Items confiscated included approximately 281.47 grams of marijuana, 4.79 grams of crack cocaine, various prescription pills, about 1938 grams of Promethazine, and a 9 mm Glock semi-automatic handgun.
The suspect, identified as a prohibited firearms possessor, faces multiple charges related to drug possession and firearms violations.
