Drug Control Units Make Arrest, Seizure in Dorchester

DORCHESTER, MA – At 5:05 pm on Thursday, officers of District B-2, B-3 Drug Control Units, Quincy Police Drug Control Unit, and Homeland Security Investigations arrested Edwardo Reynoso-Mejia, a 47-year-old Dorchester resident.

During an ongoing drug and firearm investigation, officers executed search warrants at 976 Blue Hill Avenue, resulting in the recovery of approximately 4,110 grams of Fentanyl, three privately manufactured firearms, a 50 round ammunition drum, and multiple rounds of ammunition.

Reynoso-Mejia now faces charges related to drug trafficking, unlawful possession of firearms, ammunition, and large capacity feeding devices. The Dorchester District Court will conduct his arraignment.
