HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – A 22-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash early Saturday morning at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Mountain View Drive, police said.
Lauren Brown, of Blairstown Township, was driving a 2018 Audi when she swerved into the northbound lane of Grand Avenue at approximately 1:13 a.m., striking another vehicle, according to authorities.
Officers detected the odor of alcohol while speaking with Brown at the scene. She was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving.
Brown was released pending a court appearance, police said.
