TOMS RIVER, NJ – Miguel Garcia was arrested after crashing his vehicle into a ditch and damaging a utility pole at the intersection of Cox Cro and Whitesville. The accident resulted in a temporary power outage in the immediate area and affected the traffic light system.
Upon police arrival, Garcia was on the scene and exhibited signs of intoxication. He failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs). An Alcotest to measure his blood alcohol content is pending. The traffic light has since been restored to normal operation.
