Dubai is using drones with lasers to cause rain during 125-degree heatwave

DUBAI, UAE – Summer temperatures in Dubai typically hover in the 110 to 115-degree range. This year, the city in the United Arab Emirates is experiencing a heat wave of epic proportions with temperatures reaching as high as 125-degrees Fahrenheit.

Now, scientists are creating rain by stimulating clouds with electrical charges to force rainfall and it appears to be working.

It’s called cloud seeding and the nation which receives just four inches of rain annually is in desperate need of water.
