DUI Driver Charged after Oakland Traffic Stop

OAKLAND, NJ – While on patrol last Monday, Oakland Police Officer Charles Kelly investigated a traffic complaint involving an erratic driver on Skyline Drive, which then entered onto I-287.

A subsequent traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old Richmond Hill, NY resident for Driving Under the Influence. The male offender was processed and later released from custody to a family member with a court date set to later appear in the Oakland Municipal Court. Officers Michael DiDonato and Steven Albert assisted. The Oakland Police Department did not release the name of the suspect.
