NEW YORK — ICE Director Tom Homan ripped into Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, calling her “the dumbest congresswoman who was ever elected to Congress”.
AOC replied on Elon Musk’s X accusing Homan and President Donald Trump of being “cowards.”
Homan criticized Ocasio-Cortez for interfering with law enforcement and protecting individuals who have already been ordered deported.
“She is protecting criminal illegal aliens who have already ordered removed by an immigration judge through due process,” he said.
Ocasio-Cortez fired back, writing, “This is why you fight these cowards. The moment you stand up to them, they crumble.” She defended her efforts after hosting an online seminar aimed at educating illegal immigrants and convicted criminals about their rights when confronted by ICE and police.
The clash highlights the ongoing divide over immigration policy and law enforcement’s role in deportations.
