Dundalk Man Loses Winning $1 Million Lottery Ticket

DUNDALK, MD – A Dundalk lottery enthusiast, known as “Extreme Green Dream,” won $1,045,588 with a FAST PLAY Extreme Green progressive jackpot ticket. The winner claimed his prize at Lottery headquarters on July 29.

The lucky event occurred while the man was out with friends at Squire’s Restaurant on Holabird Avenue. Initially planning to buy a $30 FAST PLAY ticket, he opted for a $20 Extreme Green ticket to avoid potential irritation from his wife.

Upon seeing the printed ticket, he realized he had won a million-dollar jackpot.

The winner, a regular lottery player whose previous best was a $1,500 Keno win, was advised by a restaurant worker to sign the ticket immediately.

He then called his wife to share the news. Upon returning home, he briefly misplaced the ticket, leaving his wallet on the car’s center console before locating it.

Despite the windfall, the winner plans no lifestyle changes and intends to continue playing the lottery for enjoyment. Squire’s Restaurant in Dundalk, where the ticket was sold, will receive a $1,000 bonus.
