Duo hurls chairs at woman in Bronx attack, NYPD seeks suspects

BRONX, NY — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying two individuals wanted in connection with an assault that left a woman injured inside a Bronx building earlier this month.

According to police, the incident occurred on Friday, March 7, 2025, around 6:50 p.m. at 3683 Bruckner Boulevard, within the 45th Precinct. A 52-year-old woman was approached by two unidentified males who proceeded to throw chairs at her.

The victim sustained a hand injury and was treated at the scene by EMS. She did not require hospitalization.

The assailants fled the location on foot, heading eastbound on Bruckner Boulevard. They remain at large.

The first suspect is described as a male with a slim build, dark complexion, and braids. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue sweatpants, white socks, and dark shoes.

The second individual is described as a male with a slim build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black face covering, a dark-colored vest, a dark hooded sweatshirt, black pants, gray sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.

Surveillance images of both individuals have been released and are available via NYPD’s DCPI.
