Early Morning Burglary Interrupted by Baltimore Police; Suspect Hospitalized

BALTIMORE, MD — A burglary was thwarted by Southwest District patrol officers early on May 17, 2024, after responding to an alarm at approximately 3:24 a.m. in the 200 block of North Franklintown Road. Upon arrival, officers found the bay door open and three suspects attempting to flee the scene on foot.

After a brief chase, a 26-year-old male was apprehended, while the other two suspects escaped, reportedly stealing a dirt bike from the premises. The captured suspect was later transported to a local hospital following complaints of breathing difficulties.

Pending medical clearance, the arrested individual will be transferred to the Central Booking Intake Facility to face charges related to the incident.
