Early Morning Carjacking and Robbery Reported in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – A 40-year-old man was victimized by three unidentified assailants in a carjacking incident near University Avenue and West Tremont Avenue at approximately 2:30 AM on Friday. The attackers, who brandished a firearm, forcibly took cash, a cell phone, and the victim’s vehicle.

Following the theft, the culprits escaped in the stolen vehicle in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor eye injuries during the encounter but declined any medical treatment at the scene.
