HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Hillsborough Police Department was alerted to reports of gunfire during a party on Riddle Avenue early Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 21-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported by ambulance to the hospital and as of 7 a.m. on Wednesday, were listed in stable condition. The Hillsborough Police Department is requesting public assistance for further information about the incident.
