Early Morning Shooting in Goshen Township Leaves One Dead

GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, OH – Eli Wolf, a 43-year-old man, was found dead early Saturday morning following a reported shooting on the 1700 block of State Route 28.

Brian Cansler, 30, was located at a nearby Angilo’s Pizza location and was arrested after resisting arrest.

Cansler has been charged with murder and is currently being held at the Clermont County Jail pending arraignment.

As of Saturday afternoon, the search for the weapon used in the shooting was still underway.

Residents are advised to contact Goshen Township Police Dispatch at 513-732-2231 if they find a stray, small-caliber firearm and to leave the weapon untouched.
