Early Morning Shooting in Johnstown Leaves One Dead, One Injured

JOHNSTOWN, PA – An early-morning shooting on Friday in the Oakhurst Homes section of Johnstown resulted in one man’s death and a woman’s hospitalization.

The incident occurred in building 29 at 4:11 a.m.

The deceased man, whose identity is pending family notification, is undergoing an autopsy at ForensicDX in Windber.

The injured woman was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Center, though her condition remains undisclosed.

Initial reports suggest a third individual was taken to the city Public Safety Building. Johnstown police detectives, along with other local authorities, are currently investigating the incident.
