Early Morning Shooting in Lima Sends One to Hospital

LIMA, OH – A shooting incident occurred in Lima in the early hours of Friday, prompting a response from the Lima Police Department.

Officers reached the scene at 1121 Holmes Avenue shortly after 12:40 a.m.

Eric Walker, from Michigan, was found with a gunshot wound in the upper abdomen. Prompt medical attention was ensured as Walker was rushed to Lima Memorial for treatment.

Preliminary findings indicate that an unidentified suspect fired four shots at the front of the residence.

The Lima Police Department is actively pursuing leads to identify the suspect responsible for the shooting. Anyone possessing relevant information is asked to communicate with the police department directly.
