Early Morning Shooting in Paterson Leaves One Dead

PATERSON, NJ – An incident unfolded on Sunday, when at approximately 6:36 a.m., Paterson Police Officers rushed to Park Avenue and East 22nd Street following reports of gunshots.

A 19-year-old male from Paterson was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was subsequently taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced deceased.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Paterson Police Detective Bureau are requesting any helpful information from the public.
