SYRACUSE, NY – The New York Lottery has announced that the winning ticket for the Mega Millions drawing on April 18th was sold in East Syracuse. The lucky ticket holder matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball, making their ticket worth a whopping $20 million.
After taxes, the cash value of the jackpot for an upstate winner is estimated to be $6.8 million. The winning numbers for the April 18th drawing were 7-9-15-19-25, with the Mega Ball being 4. The ticket was purchased at Church Wine and Liquor, located at 6430 Kirkville Road in East Syracuse.
This is the second consecutive Mega Millions jackpot winning ticket sold in New York. A ticket worth $476 million was sold in Ozone Park for the April 14th drawing, setting the record for the highest Mega Millions win in New York.
