EASTHAMPTON, MA — Michael Lech, a mechanic from Easthampton, narrowly claimed a $100,000 Mass Cash prize less than three weeks before its expiration. The prize, won in the January 8, 2023 drawing, was claimed on December 20 at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s West Springfield claim center.
Lech selected the winning numbers 1-5-6-13-29, based on family birthdays. His winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 97 Union St. in Easthampton. For selling the winning ticket, the store received a $1,000 bonus.
