North Bergen, NJ – The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the North Bergen Police Department are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that took place on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred at the intersection of Tonnelle Avenue and 85th Street, involving a Ford SUV, a Hyundai sedan, and a Volkswagen sedan.
Reports indicate that the driver of the Hyundai, a 73-year-old female from North Bergen, along with a 90-year-old male passenger, were transported to Hackensack University Medical Center with severe injuries. The driver of the Ford has been identified as Steven Reyes, a 45-year-old from Fairview, who was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
