Elderly Man Assaulted in Front of Rockaway Boulevard

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public help to identify an assailant in connection with an assault on an elderly man.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, around 5:54 a.m., in front of 253-51 Rockaway Boulevard.

A verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in the 73-year-old victim being repeatedly punched. He sustained minor injuries and received on-site medical treatment.

The suspect, described as a muscular male with a beard and tattoos on both arms, fled southbound on Rockaway Boulevard in a gray Acura TLX. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black sweatpants, and black sandals.
