Elderly Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Pulaski Highway

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An 88-year-old man, John Lohmeyer, was fatally struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Pulaski Highway. The incident occurred on the evening of March 7, in the 8200 block of the highway.

Baltimore County Crash Team detectives arrived at the scene around 7:30 p.m. and found that a 2019 Jeep Cherokee had hit Lohmeyer. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
