Elderly Woman Attacked in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY — A shocking incident occurred at the intersection of Saint Felix Street and Lafayette Avenue on Thursday, April 25, where a 71-year-old woman was assaulted. At approximately 9:31 AM, an unidentified male approached the elderly victim and punched her in the face, causing her to fall to the ground.

The assailant immediately fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on Lafayette Avenue. The victim sustained minor facial injuries and received treatment at a local clinic.

Police are on the lookout for a male suspect, described as having a medium complexion and estimated to be between 40-50 years old. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring the assailant to justice.
