Elderly woman found dead with head trauma inside Brooklyn home – Foul play under investigation

Brooklyn, NY – An 89-year-old woman was discovered with fatal head injuries inside her Brooklyn residence late Sunday night, police said.

Authorities responded to a 911 call around 10:27 p.m. at 3015 West 29th Street in the 60th Precinct. Officers were informed that the victim, identified as Nina Kravtsov, had sustained head trauma. Emergency personnel rushed her to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, where she was pronounced dead.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death. Police said no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
