Elderly Woman Robbed by Moped Duo in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – A 72-year-old female was forced to the ground and robbed by two unknown individuals riding a moped.

The incident took place on Sunday, September 3, at approximately 9:05 AM near East 46 Street and Flatbush Avenue. The assailants forcibly removed the victim’s purse, which contained a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of currency.

The individuals were last seen fleeing northbound on East 46 Street on the moped. The victim refused medical attention, and her cell phone has since been recovered.
