Elderly Woman Robbed Near Decatur Avenue in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – Early on Thursday, July 18, a 69-year-old woman was attacked and robbed by three unidentified individuals near the intersection of Decatur Avenue and East 211 Street. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 AM.

The assailants, two women and one man, approached the victim from behind. The man pushed her to the ground and forcibly took $9 and her cellphone.

The victim sustained minor injuries from the attack and sought treatment at Saint Barnabas Hospital via private means.

The first individual, a male with a dark complexion and slim build, was last seen in a light-colored shirt and dark pants. The second, a female with a dark complexion and medium build, was wearing a black shirt and dark pants.

The third assailant, also a female with a dark complexion, was dressed in a light-colored sweater and dark pants. They were last seen fleeing northbound on Decatur Avenue. The police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
