Ephrata Police Charge Woman with Assaulting Officer

EPHRATA, PA – Mya Lanae Biddle, a 19-year-old from New Holland, has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault against a police officer.

Ephrata Police responded to a fight in a parking lot on Martin Avenue on Sunday.

Biddle, found to be involved in the fight, reportedly resisted arrest and assaulted an officer.

Charges against Biddle include public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and underage drinking.

She was arraigned before MDJ Russell and placed on house arrest with electronic monitoring, pending a bail of $25,000. Biddle’s guilt will be determined in court.
