Euro zone consumer confidence rises to -23.9 in November

(Reuters) – Euro zone consumer confidence rose by 3.6 points in November from the October number, figures released on Tuesday showed.

The European Commission said a flash estimate showed euro zone consumer morale improved to -23.9 this month from a revised -27.5 in October.

Economists polled by Reuters had expected a rise to -26.0.

In the European Union as a whole, consumer sentiment rose by 2.8 points to -25.8.
