EVESHAM, NJ – Police in Evesham left it up to residents and kids to name their new department mascot.
“On National Night Out, we had a naming contest for our new mascot, which will eventually be made into a game to bring to our community engagement events,” the department said.
According to police, the administration office at the department randomly picked Molly [last name withheld due to age] as the winner, who named the K-9 mascot Kevlar. Which would also make a super cool name for an actual police K-9.
