Facebook Carjacking Rumor in Marlboro Unfounded

MARLBORO, NJ – The Marlboro Township Police Department has responded to a social media post circulating on the “Marlboro NJ Residents Page” regarding an alleged carjacking and following incident near Whole Foods on Route 9.

The police have noted that no such incident occurred within Marlboro Township, and they are not currently investigating any such events.

In their statement, the Marlboro Township Police Department assured residents that if any incident were to occur that required community awareness, they would promptly and accurately inform the public.

The safety of all residents, businesses, and visitors in Marlboro Township remains their highest priority.

The department emphasized the importance of promptly reporting any criminal activity or being a witness to a crime within Marlboro or beyond the township’s borders.

They encourage citizens to immediately contact the police with any information or incidents to ensure a swift and effective response in maintaining public safety.
