Family of Eight Displaced During House Fire in Manalapan

A family of eight people were left without a home following a fire that broke out in Monmouth County. Responding to the incident at a residence on Paddington Court was the Manalapan police, who arrived at approximately 7:38 p.m. last Friday.

The fire originated in the laundry room, with flames and smoke emanating from that area. Firefighters from Gordons Corner, Englishtown, Freehold, and Marlboro successfully extinguished the fire, with no injuries reported. The New Jersey chapter of the American Red Cross has stepped in to assist the displaced family with immediate necessities such as temporary housing, clothing, and food.

Authorities have deemed the fire as accidental.
