Fatal Crash in Laurel Claims the Life of a Local Man

LAUREL, DE – Delaware State Police is investigating a fatal single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday. The incident involved a 2009 Chevrolet HHR, driven by a 27-year-old male from Laurel, on Shiloh Church Road.

The driver lost control, exited the roadway, and the vehicle overturned several times, ejecting the driver who was then pronounced deceased on the scene.

Shiloh Church Road was closed for about 3 hours for crash investigation and clearance. The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit is asking for any witnesses to this collision to contact them.
