Fatal crash in Southeast Baltimore under investigation

BALTIMORE, MD — A 35-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Southeast District early Sunday morning.

At approximately 1:35 a.m. on September 22, Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 5300 block of Eastern Avenue, where they found an overturned Ford pickup truck. Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle struck a light pole and a tree before overturning. The driver was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
