Fatal Crash Under Investigation in Dundalk

DUNDALK, PA – The Baltimore County Police Department is actively investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Saturday.

At around 11:40 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Merritt Boulevard and Holabird Avenue due to a reported collision.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Crash Team have ascertained that a 2023 Kawasaki KLX 110R dirt bike was moving east on Holabird Avenue while a 2022 Hyundai Elantra was heading south on Merritt Boulevard. Both vehicles entered the intersection, resulting in the Hyundai colliding with the Kawasaki.

Jessica M. Schuman, the 33-year-old Kawasaki driver, was thrown off her bike. She was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Investigations by the Baltimore County Crash Team are ongoing.
