Fatal motorcycle accident at Adams Avenue and Howland Street in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — A fatal accident occurred at 7:46 p.m. at the intersection of Adams Avenue and Howland Street involving a motorcycle and a car, according to police.

A motorcycle traveling westbound on Adams Avenue collided with a silver Ford Crown Victoria, which was turning northbound onto Howland Street from the eastbound lane of Adams Avenue.

The motorcycle operator, a 26-year-old male, was transported by Medic 29 to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:15 p.m.

The scene remains secured as the Crash Investigation Division (CID) continues its investigation. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the accident.
