Fatal Motorcycle Collision Under Investigation by Montgomery County Police

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is currently investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred near Sellman Road on the 21400 block of Beallsville Road.

On Sunday, at about 8:43 pm, emergency services including Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue responded to the accident. Michelle Lee Beach, a 53-year-old resident of Dunedin, FL, was found ejected from her motorcycle after a collision with a deer.

She was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries where she later succumbed to her injuries. Preliminary findings show that Beach was traveling southbound on Beallsville Road on her pink 2007 Suzuki GXSR 600 motorcycle, following another motorcyclist when the collision occurred.
