Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Dundalk Sparks Investigation

DUNDALK, MD — A tragic collision involving a motorcycle and a Jeep has led to the death of 35-year-old motorcyclist Joshua Bernert. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 14, at approximately 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Dundalk Avenue and Center Place.

Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that a 2010 Jeep Liberty struck Bernert’s 2024 Suzuki motorcycle as it turned southbound onto Dundalk Avenue. Bernert was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Baltimore County Crash Team has taken charge of the investigation, seeking to understand the dynamics behind this deadly incident. As their investigation progresses, further details will be disclosed.
