Fatal Pedestrian Collision Under Investigation in Prince George’s County

HYATTSVILLE, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that claimed the life of 59-year-old Andrea Herron of Washington, DC. The incident occurred on Friday evening, at approximately 7:10 pm, in the 5400 block of Landover Road.

Herron was transported to a hospital for treatment but was pronounced deceased hours later. The initial investigation indicates that the pedestrian was struck while attempting to cross the road. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene.
