CHARLOTTE, NC – A shooting early Monday morning at the WaterWalk Charlotte hotel in southwest Charlotte resulted in one fatality.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed that paramedics found the victim with gunshot wounds in the hotel’s parking lot at 1500 West Arrowood Road, shortly before 4:15 a.m.
The victim, whose age and identity are yet to be disclosed, was reportedly involved in car break-ins in the parking lot prior to the shooting.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department stated that they are not seeking any suspects in this case.
The investigation is ongoing.
