BROOKLYN, NY – Early on Thursday morning, a man was fatally shot near the intersection of Linwood Street and New Lots Avenue. The victim, Cody Toldeo, 33, lived just blocks away from the scene. Upon arrival, police found him with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was then transported to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was later declared deceased. The shooter remains at large, with the investigation ongoing.
