Fatal Shooting in Roxbury Leads to Active Investigation

ROXBURY, MA – A tragic shooting occurred on Saturday, at approximately 10:17 PM in the area of 2055 Columbus Avenue in Roxbury.

Boston Police Department officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) rushed to the scene after receiving a report of a person shot.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Boston EMS quickly arrived on the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. Unfortunately, the victim was later pronounced deceased.
