Fatal Shooting Occurs on Ditmas Avenue, Investigation Underway

NEW YORK, NY – A 23-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday in Brooklyn.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, police were alerted to a shooting incident at 8906 Ditmas Avenue, in the jurisdiction of the 67th NYPD Precinct.

Responding officers found a 23-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services rushed the victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was tragically pronounced dead.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Details regarding the identity of the deceased individual are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
