Fatal Single-Car Crash in Simsbury Under Investigation

HARTFORD COUNTY, CT – A devastating single-car accident in Simsbury resulted in the death of the driver, as announced by the town’s police department.

The crash happened just before 11:15 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 25, at the intersection of Sand Hill Road and Red Oak Court. Upon arrival, first responders found that the vehicle had veered off the road and collided with a tree while traveling east on Sand Hill Road.

The driver was rushed to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead. The identity of the driver has not been released as the Simsbury Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
