CHESAPEAKE, VA — Virginia State Police responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash at the interchange of Route 58 and I-664 at 2:53 p.m. Saturday. The incident involved a car veering off the eastbound ramp of Route 58 to northbound I-664 and crashing into the trees. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
Authorities are in the process of notifying the next of kin. The investigation into the crash is ongoing
