James City County, VA – Virginia State Police responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash early Monday morning on I-64.
At approximately 4:06 AM, a sedan traveling west on I-64 ran off the road near Exit 231, striking a utility pole, an electrical box, and then a tree. The crash resulted in one confirmed fatality.
State Police are in the process of notifying the next of kin. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
